Almost a year ago I talked to Ricardo, the owner of this amazing Audi, but we couldn’t schedule a meet to photograph his car. Now, finally, one year later was the time to feature Ricardo’s Audi. He lives in Switzerland, and two weeks ago he called me telling me he was in Portugal for a few days. It was time to pack our bags and head to his home town Torres Novas. Almost 200km later we met Ricardo and his Audi A4 B5, and we were truly amazed.

The word “Stance” if often misunderstood, some people think it’s a style, others think it’s a pretty car. If we can say that a car has stance, this is a good example, ’cause this Audi breaks necks everywhere with it’s presence.
The only thing left stock it’s the body. The wheels, brakes, interior, bumpers, and so on, where upgraded. For the “outsiders” of the car scene, it’s just another lowered Audi with new wheels… but it’s some much more than that. Ricardo replaced the stock bumpers with the ones from the RS4 (front) and S4 (rear), along with the S4 side skirts. The headlights are original from the RS4, with OEM Xenon.
The wheels are from the Porsche 997 Turbo, 19″x8.5 and 19″x10 (originally they were 11″ wide, but they had to be cut to 10″ to fit in the Audi.). Along with the wheels, Ricardo installed S4 B6 brakes, 345x34mm.
225/35 r19 tyres to highlight the wheels and stretch the rear ones quite a bit.
Ricardo made a 1998 car look like a brand new one, using only OEM equipment.
The interior wasn’t left out, Ricardo changed the whole interior to the A4 B5 facelift (yes, the car was a pre-facelift), equipped with OEM Bose sound system. The S4 or RS4 seats weren’t enough for the owner, so he installed the S6 beige leather interior, with full electric seats, to contrast with the black paint.
To give it a even more modern and luxuryous touch, the headunit choice went to a Audi RNS-E from a ’06 A6.
We want to thank Ricardo for the opportunity to shoot his car. The amazing thing about this lifestyle is the friends we make, don’t forget about that, ever! It was a really cool night, hanging out and shooting this Audi. We got home at 5am, tired, but with a smile on our faces. Not only because we we’re doing something we all love, but because we also can call Ricardo a friend. The best of luck for him in Switzerland.
